October 4, 2022 UPDATE
During October 3, 2022’s Council meeting, Fleet Services was successful in its request for a $32,266.90 budget amendment to proceed with the purchase of a 2022 Toro Groundsmaster 5910, three-deck mower. The original budget approved for the 2022 capital expenditure plan was $175,000; the proposed price is $207,266.90 exceeding the allowable 5% overage set by council in 2021. The required budget overage will be taken from the Mobile Fleet Reserve account in the amount of $32,266.90 to satisfy the price increases experienced over the last two years.
