| Description: |
The City of Prince George (City) is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultant firms with the appropriate team of specialists, and sub-consultants, who can demonstrate experience required to provide pre-design, design related field investigations, and detailed design services over multiple years on a “non- exclusive/as needed basis” for replacing, upgrading existing watermains, or providing redundancy in City’s water network. This project is intended to provide construction-ready designs for watermain projects identified through prior planning projects as well as preventative replacements for aging and high-risk infrastructures. There is no guarantee of volume and/or amount of work. The required services under Annex 1 – Work Related Requirements may not be all-inclusive under this contract. The City may assign any task that is typical work considered to be in the area of professional expertise for watermain projects. The City anticipates awarding a contract as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) based on the Southridge Ave Replacement project and Ottawa Street New Watermain project to the highest scoring proponent and pre-qualify up to a maximum of three (3) Suppliers who may be invited to submit proposals on additional watermain projects for the next two years with the option to extend the terms of the Contract by three (3) additional one (1) year terms. For the purpose of this RFP, the Evaluation Criteria under Section 2.6.4 will be scored by evaluating the proposal for the work required for the Southridge Avenue Watermain Replacement and Ottawa Street New Watermain project (see Annex 2 - Work Related Requirements). The Capital Watermain Program consists of several multi‐year projects, which is subject to annual funding through the City’s Capital Expenditure Plan. Proposals must include the engineering and contract management services required to complete the Southridge Avenue Watermain Replacement project and the Ottawa Street New Watermain project. |
