City of Prince George invites proposals from interested Contractors to provide the following security services:

1. Intrusion, fire & critical alarm monitoring/ runner response and security services at various City facilities, as described herein.  The intrusion, fire & critical alarm monitoring and security services are an integral part of the City’s service delivery to the general public, City staff and various external agencies.  These services may also be required outside of the City’s regular working hours
2. Security and Guest Services at the CN Centre and the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre on an “as required basis” for scheduled events.

During the term of the contract, the City may require security services for additional locations and/or discontinue services for locations.

Proponents are encouraged to provide pricing for all services requested, however, the Proponents do have the option of submitting pricing for some or all of the services requested.  The City reserves the right to award a Contact to one (1) or more Proponents with the pricing that gives the City the best value for the requested service.

This solicitation may lead to sequential or concurrent negotiations with one or more Proponents offering the most advantageous proposal(s), or to the creation of a Contract(s) without negotiations with one (1) or more Proponents.
