City of Prince George (the “City) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide engineering consulting services to assess and remediate ongoing dehumidification issues at the Kin Centre Arenas, located at 2181 Ospika Boulevard in Prince George, British Columbia. The Kin Centre is a multi-arena facility comprising three ice surfaces that accommodate a variety of activities, including hockey, figure skating, lacrosse, in-line and ball hockey, tournaments, and trade shows.
The scope of work includes identifying the design and engineering requirements necessary to correct and maintain acceptable humidity levels within Arenas 2 and 3. The successful Proponent will be responsible for completing all required engineering assessments and for preparing detailed designs, construction drawings, and technical specifications in support of the project objectives.
The contract will be divided into three phases.
*Phases 2 and 3 are pending Consultant performance and project budget approval.
This solicitation may lead to sequential or concurrent negotiations with one or more Proponents offering the most advantageous proposal(s), or to the creation of a Contract without negotiations. |
