The City of Prince George is seeking proposals from playground contractors and installers to supply and install playground equipment for two (2) local parks. In 2017, the City of Prince George approved a five (5) year annual playground investment plan for the removal, replacement, and addition of playground equipment throughout City parks. City funding has been secured through this program to replace the playgrounds at two (2) local parks in 2022. Each playground must provide unique play value that is clearly distinct from one park area to another. The City requires a minimum of two (2) playground designs for each location that must include some age- friendly play components and accessible routes. All playground equipment must be compliant with the CAN/CSA Z614-14 standards and include supply, delivery, and installation during the 2022 construction season. |
