City of Prince George (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced consulting firms to comprehensively review the Wastewater Treatment Centre’s (WWTC) current processes and infrastructure to create an updated master plan report with a horizon date of 2050. This report should provide recommendations based on a 25-year projection of the WWTC’s hydraulic capacity, the structural and mechanical integrity of the existing infrastructure, and any new requirements that may be expected over this time period. The development of this master plan will also include the creation of a capital improvements program to outline the major repairs, upgrades, and new installs needed to maintain the existing infrastructure and ensure the facility can continue to accommodate the City’s projected growth. 

The Supplier will have the opportunity to form a long-standing relationship with the City in the form of providing the designs, workplans, and project review services required to execute the most critical upgrades over the 10 years that follow the completion of the master plan to ensure continuity throughout the planning and implementation. The quantity of work available each year will be subject to annual budget approvals and Supplier performance.
